God, you know I've fallen apart without you. I don't know how you do what you do. Because
all that doesn't make sense about me makes sense when I am with you! However, since my fall from the Garden I feel
something has come between us and it seems impossible to ever get back to the
original relationship I once had with you.
And what is even worse of all it does not seem I am even wanted by you
for my return.
God:
Children, like everything green needs the rain I need you.
But it is for more than mere worship or glorifying my name. Put aside all the math, logic, and thoughts
of immortality and sin. For I want you, but you have to know you're wanted too. For I want wrap you up I want to kiss your
lips I just want to make you feel wanted. I want call you mine and I want to
hold your hand forever and never let you forget it. I want to do this all for you just to show
you that you are wanted.
(Jesus comes to earth to pave the way for humanity to feel
wanted.)
Jesus:
Anyone can tell you you're pretty, smart, or a decent person
and here on Earth you get that all the time. But your beauty's deeper than the
makeup. You have a higher calling and
that is to love the Lord with all of you and love your neighbor as yourself.
(As Jesus is lead to the cross God proclaims these words to
humanity.)
God:
I want show you what I see today in you!
(With Jesus’ hands nailed to the cross and stretched out…)
When I want wrap you up and when I want to kiss your lips. Remember
I just want to make you feel wanted. From now on I can call you mine and I can
hold your hand forever and never let you forget it. I want to do this all for you just to show
you that you are wanted. You are wanted!
